The wife of the shepherd Omusha reported that she saw a strange creature like a snowman near the pasture. The creature was standing on a high rock.
She begged her husband to leave this terrible place and go to another pasture. The man did not agree, although he was also worried about it.
He began to search for the creatures: he found their tracks, but never saw a living one.
One evening, he heard his wife screaming very loudly. He grabbed his rifle and ran outside. His wife was lying on the ground, almost unconscious. She was speechless and couldn't say a word. She could only point her finger in the direction of the rocks. The shepherd looked in the direction she was pointing and saw the silhouette of a man running. Without hesitation, he fired the rifle. In the morning, the shepherd found bloodstains on the stones.
Omush thought that these creatures would never return to their pasture again.
A few days later, he found his young son dead. There were no signs of violence on the boy's body, only a small wound on his neck. Omush was sure that his boy was killed by a snowman.
He swore vengeance and waited for the creature to return. One night he fell asleep, and when he entered his house in the morning, he found the body of his wife. Again, there was only a small red wound on her neck.
Out of desperation, he went to the forest to search for the creatures.
Shepherd Shapak took care of the sheep of Omush. One day, he suddenly saw a sheep very worried and agitated. They bleated and darted from side to side. The animals were clearly frightened of something.
Shapak could only see the silhouette of a man covered in thick fur disappearing among the bushes and trees. Then he saw another person on the ground. Shapak ran up to him and recognized Omush. The shepherd was already dead, bleeding from a small wound in his neck.
