In the desert near this town, Susannah H was driving when a 3.5-foot-long (1m) greenish creature weighing about 100lbs ran in front of her car just ten feet (3m) away. He had two arms and two legs, though he moved so fast that she didn't get a good look at his arms and legs. It had five two-foot (0.6 m) spikes on its back and strange faceted eyes like a fly's. He ran very fast, with a funny gait, and in a few seconds was out of sight. She assumed he was traveling at 70 miles an hour. He didn't have any.
