The four teenagers saw the glow in the woods, and as they investigated, they noticed several creatures with short, curly dark hair and strange ears, but otherwise similar to humans, that seemed to be taking soil samples. They were wearing white robes.

The teenagers reported their sighting to police, who found a circular hole in the ground four inches (10.16 cm) in diameter and five feet (1.5 m) deep.
