A local pig farmer named " Belizardo "was searching the cornfields for some of his pigs when he noticed a strange" star-shaped " light moving at an angle to the ground. After a few minutes of observing the descending light, he noticed that several rays of light were coming out of it, which seemed to scan the surrounding fields and ridges.
Now he was sure that it was some kind of" apparatus " (the name given by the locals to any unidentified aircraft, as well as in the neighboring state of Maranhao). Worried, he watched as the lighted "ship" now descended parallel to his position.
Apparently, the passengers on the ship had already noticed him, and Belisardo immediately ran and hid behind small trees.
He armed himself with a rifle and waited tensely. He scanned the dimly lit surroundings and soon noticed a figure that seemed to be moving with strange "mechanical" movements. According to Belisardo, when the figure raised one hand, it lowered the other in a strange rhythm. The illuminated ship remained motionless at a certain distance, then lit up, then darkened. The beams of light were still scanning the area.
Suddenly, a bright beam of light shone at the witness ' feet. Terrified, he immediately ran from his hiding place. Then he hid in the dense foliage, where he felt safer, and from there watched the illuminated object until it was gone. He no longer saw the strange figure. There may have been other witnesses.

After several minutes of observing the descending light he noticed several beams of light emerged from the light, which seemed to scan the surrounding fields and ridges. He was now sure that it was some kind of “apparatus” (name given by the locals to any unidentified aircraft and also in the nearby state of Maranhao). Concerned he watched the lighted “craft” had now descended parallel to his position. Apparently the occupants of the craft had by now spotted him and Belizardo immediately ran and hid behind some small trees. He armed himself with a rifle and waited tensely. He scanned the dimly lit surroundings and soon spotted a figure that seemed to move in strange “mechanical” movements. According to Belizardo when the figure lifted an arm it lowered the other one in some bizarre rhythm. The lighted craft remained static at a certain distance at times lighting up and then dimming. The beams of light still scanned the area. Suddenly a bright beam of light shone at the feet of the witness. Terrified he immediately ran from his hiding place. He then hid in an area of thick foliage where he felt more secure and from there watched the lighted object until it left. He did not see the strange figure again. There were possibly other witnesses.
