An eyewitness from the town of Erlekom writes:
A large airship-like flying object. There is silence in the air. I rode a Wecheren bike in Ooijpolder.
I saw 3 more people looking up at the sky. At that moment I thought they were looking at a bird or something, and then high up in the sky, far away, in the direction of Millingen ad Rhein, Germany, I saw what looked like a large airship. Maybe it was. I Googled it, but I didn't find anything.
I don't believe in UFOs or anything like that, but I thought it was weird. I drove on down the bend. The item was suddenly gone.

ERLECOM, GD — Groot zeplin achtig vliegend object. Stil in de lucht. Ik fietste in wercheren in de ooijpolder. Ik zag 3 andere mensen naar de lucht kijken. Ik dacht op dat moment dat zij naar een vogel keken of zo en zag toen hoog in de lucht, ver weg, in de richting van Millingen ad Rijn, Duitsland, een soort grote zeplin. Misschien is het dat ook wel geweest. Heb gegoogeld, maar kan er niets over terugvinden. Ik geloof niet in UFO's of zo, maar vond het wel vreemd. Ik ben verder gefiets, een bocht doorgereden. Het object was er plotseling niet meer.
