At about 04: 45, two hunters entered the forest. It was raining and it was very dark. For lighting, they had only a "hat lamp" and a mini Mag lamp. When the boys entered the forest, they heard a coyote howling, and the two men stopped. After a while, they heard the howling of coyotes from different parts of the forest. It turned out that these were three different packs of animals. The men hunted quite often, and one of the men said that he had never heard so many coyotes howling like that before. Sometimes it was difficult for the men to communicate with each other.
Suddenly, about 150-200 yards (135-180 m) ahead, on the other side of the field, they noticed two very dim glowing lights, the size of a baseball, about two feet apart and estimated to be about 15 feet (4.5 m) above the ground.
They glowed "like the indigo color of a watch." The two men thought that the lights were strange, but thought that maybe there were some hunters ahead. The men turned off the lights. As they walked forward, in the distance to the place where they saw the first glowing lights, they now observed what looked like a flashing beam flashing back and forth between the tree line.
They didn't think it was strange, since it was the archery season, and there was a chance that there were other hunters nearby. Within a few minutes of observing a single light beam, about 10 separate white light rays suddenly appeared. These light rays that "flashed" seemed to come from a single point, and did not move, as if someone was carrying them.
The beams appeared to be approximately 10 feet (3 m) above the ground and protruded parallel to the ground and extending directly from the original location. One of the men asked out loud:
"How many are there?"
It seemed strange to the two hunters that these lights were not trying to find a way through the forest. The men were confused as to what they had seen. Then their attention was attracted by a glowing figure coming out of the area of the rays of light.
"It seemed that one ray of light led him into the field."
The glowing human-like shape moved about 20 feet (6 m) into a grassy field. The grass in the area was approximately 6 inches (15.27 cm) tall. The other rays of light suddenly went out. One of the men described the creature as looking like "a human silhouette, just glowing, completely glowing." The man said that the best way to describe what they saw was when someone took a glow-in-the-dark paint and rubbed it into the person's body.
The creature was estimated to be about three feet (0.9 m) tall, the head could be slightly larger than a human, and the upper part of the body seemed to lean forward. The arms seemed to hang down and were longer than a human's. The legs were difficult to see, as the light blocked the figure. The color of the glow was described as light green, light green.
The creature seemed to be moving twice as fast as the two men who were walking fast. In fact, it seemed that he was sliding, and there was no sound. One of the men recalled that during the incident he was violently shaken, and he began to whistle loudly.
A few moments later, the creature that was moving steadily just stopped. He remained motionless for about 30 seconds. He then moved about 20 feet (6 m) into the field, "then suddenly just disappeared in front of their eyes, and was never seen again."
About two minutes after the disappearance, all the coyotes in the area suddenly stopped howling. The whole incident lasted a total of about five minutes. Later that day, the men returned to the place and looked around for any traces where they had seen lights and a mysterious creature, but found nothing.

A short time later, they heard coyotes howling from various locations all around the woods. It appeared to be three different packs of the animals. The men had hunted quite often and one of the men said he had never heard so many coyotes howling like that before. At times it was hard for the men to communicate with each other. Suddenly about 150-200 yards ahead on the other side of a field they noticed two very dim glowing lights, the lights were about the size of a baseball and about two feet apart, and estimated to be about 15 feet above the ground.
