Ms. P., 52, a swimming instructor, was walking her dog with her boyfriend when she thought she saw small children playing with a torch in the woods. As she approached the tree-lined area, a torch illuminated her, and she noticed burnt footprints on the ground and the smell of sulfur.
A small figure, resembling the height of a child, entered a white cylinder 4 feet (1.2 m) long.
Then the cylinder turned glowing red and took off, dragging two jets of flame with it. Mrs. P. watched as the cylinder rose to the base of the cloud and passed through it.
