The mystical fog. France

"Soviet Russia" in the issue of March 23, 1983, published information prepared on the basis of publications of the agencies France-Presse, Reuters and the magazine "Paris-Match". It was dedicated to the story of Frank Fontana, a nineteen-year-old resident of the Paris suburb of Cergy-Pontoise.

One morning, Fontaine and his comrades Jean-Pierre Privot and Solomon N'diye loaded their" pickup truck " with clothes that they were going to sell at the market. Frank was sitting at the wheel, and his friends were finishing loading, when a spot of bright light appeared in the morning sky, which slowly and silently slid to the ground, leaving a glowing sloping trail behind it.

"It's a plane falling, it's going to crash now. I'll go and see, catch up with me!" — Frank shouted and drove the car to the fenced-in power plant, where, as it seemed to him, the plane would fall.

Solomon rushed into the house to get a camera, but unfortunately there was no film in it. Jean-Pierre was on his way to the house at that moment to get the remaining things. When both friends reappeared on the street, they found that only the back of the car was visible on the road 200 m away from them. The front part, along with the cabin, was shrouded in a brightly glowing fog ball, and four more small balls are melting around.

Then this luminous mist stretched out into a tube that rose up and very quickly disappeared into the sky. The car was still there, but Frank was not in it.

Several days passed, during which both friends and the police unsuccessfully combed the entire neighborhood. And exactly a week later, there was a knock on the door of Solomon's house. On the threshold stood... Frank! His first words were:

"Why are you dressed up in night pajamas? After all, five minutes ago We were ready to go to the market?..."

The whole trio was interrogated for a long time and with passion, first by the police, then by the prosecutor's office, but it was impossible to accuse the friends of any falsification of events. The case was closed in the courts, but by this time the group studying unidentified aerospace phenomena was interested in the story of Frank Fontana.

At first, Frank did not remember absolutely anything that happened to him during the week that they were looking for him. Then, his memory gradually began to return to him.

"I can't remember the specific details," he said. Everything happens as if I'm dreaming and having a dream..."

He remembered that when he drove the car to the power plant, its engine stalled. A small glowing ball appeared on the hood, the car was in a fog. Frank stopped seeing anything around him, his eyes stung, and he fell asleep.

After a while, Frank woke up in the same place where he had so mysteriously disappeared.
