A Texas family killed a chupacabra. A family from Texas said that they destroyed a chupacabra on a plot near their house. According to representatives of the Ort family, they killed the mysterious animal a few days ago, on Sunday, February 23.
According to 79-year-old Doug Orth, the chupacabra was spotted when it made a loud sound. His grandson, armed, ran out of the house and shot at the creature from a distance of several hundred meters. Ort noted that the chupacabra was attracted to the house by dog food. It is not specified where the dog belonging to the family was at the time of the appearance of the animal.
Commenting on the situation, biologist Josh Turner said that most likely the Orts shot not a mystical creature, but an ordinary mammal, for example, a coyote suffering from scabies. The specialist stressed that if someone shot or otherwise killed such an animal, it is necessary to wear gloves before moving the corpse. As Turner noted, otherwise the disease can be transmitted to your pet.
