Residents of the Segezha district turned to the rescuers, who said that something fell from the sky into the reservoir. As evidence, they provided footage taken by eyewitnesses from the balcony of a multi-storey building located nearby. They clearly show a glowing ball in the sky.

A few minutes later, a patch of broken ice was found in the middle of the lake. Judging by the tracks, something bulky, heavy and obviously at an incredible speed broke through the thick layer.

The bottom was immediately explored by a diver who discovered a deep funnel.

Perhaps, experts argue, an unknown celestial object at the bottom of the lake was covered with sand. To extract it, you will need special equipment. Scientists will start searching for a possible meteorite in the near future.
