In some areas of Maharashtra, including Chandrapur, Yavatmal, Nagpur, Buldhana, Wasim, Akola, Vardha and Bhandara, many people were stunned to see flaming traces of "fireballs" in the sky on Saturday night

On the same night, residents of one of the villages in the Sindewahi tehsil of Chandrapur District also reported a metal ring falling on an open area. In another village of the same district, on the same night, all residents saw a shining ball falling into a pond.

According to meteorologist and physicist Professor Kiran Kumar Johre, these three phenomena are also completely unrelated.

Kiran Kumar Johre, a former scientist at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), whose subject of specialization is "electricity", said that the metal ring and the sphere may be fragments of different satellites. But they have nothing to do with the glowing balls that were seen soaring into the sky in Vidarbha.

According to Dzhokhar, what was visible in the night sky on Saturday was a ball lightning, which is a very well-known phenomenon in physics. Kiran Kumar Johr also claims that he studied similar ascending and parallel moving fireballs that were seen in Uttar Pradesh in 2002. Kiran Kumar Johre stated that the same thing was observed in the Vidarbha region.

Kiran Kumar Johre also said that electric balls running parallel to the horizon are ball lightning, the same type of lightning that occurs in extremely dry conditions in drought-prone regions. In similar cases, people see a spherical object at night that emits different colors and moves sideways.

Kiran Kumar Johre also explained that the ball suddenly completely ceases to exist because it collapses very quickly after colliding with any object. He said that this phenomenon stops after it rains after a long delay. He said there was absolutely no need to panic.

According to him, despite the fact that a lot of research is currently being conducted, the mystery of the strange behavior of ball lightning has not yet been solved.

Hypotheses

Space debris

By space junk refers to all manmade objects and their fragments in space, which is already faulty, not functioning, and will never be able to serve any useful purpose. Currently in low earth orbits up to altitudes of about 2000 km is, according to various estimates, about 220 thousand (300 thousand according to the UN office for outer space Affairs, October 2009) man-made objects weighing up to 5000 tons.
In the case of UFOs, it is possible to expand this list lost cosmonauts things (tools, etc.).

Ball lightning

A rare natural phenomenon, a unified physical theory of the origin and course of which has not been presented to date.

There are about 200 theories explaining the phenomenon, but none of them has received absolute recognition in the academic environment. Since this phenomenon was introduced into the scientific sphere by the English physician and researcher of electrical engineering William Snow Harris in 1843, and a scientist of the French Academy Francois Arago in 1855, many hypotheses were put forward. Here are selectively some of them:
