Initial data
A stationary object consisting of several lights was spotted over Monnikendam on November 3, 2022 at 1:30.
I'm moored with my boat in the harbor of Monnikendam. I noticed for the first time that with the naked eye this "star" consists of 2 lights. On the video and on the screen it looked more like 3 or 4 pulsating lights with some shade of red and green. The object was definitely not an airplane or helicopter because there was no sound. In addition, there was a strong wind of 5-7 points, and the object remained stationary. I have a few videos that I would like to share with you.
The most likely explanation according to ufomeldpunt.nl - planet:
Most likely it was Jupiter. In the video, it looks like a planet that seems to be blinking, pulsating and changing in a turbulent atmosphere.
Original news
Hypotheses
The heavenly bodies
The brightest heavenly bodies in the sky are Venus, Jupiter, and sometimes Mars and, of course, the Moon.
Venus is the bright yellow of the evening or morning star, shining in the sky on the background of evening or dawn. Maximum brightness of Venus can reach up to 4.3 m, and she is the third brightness of the sun in earth's sky after the sun and the moon. It so well reflects the light of the Sun that it is relatively easy to see and day, especially if you know the location. It manifests itself in the form of tiny blinking white dots.
Events
Rocket launches (from space.skyrocket.de)
- Site: Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Eastern Test Range, Cape Canaveral, Florida (USA) Vehicle: Falcon-9 v1.2 (Block 5) Payload: Hotbird 13G
Investigation
According to the video and the description from an eyewitness, it really looks very much like a bright object in the night sky (probably it really is Jupiter).
