The legend of the Pear Girl is one of the most popular and at the same time has undergone the most transformations over time. According to the sources found, we can place the beginning of events between 1890 and 1910.
Some parents sent their daughter to Barranco de Badajoz in search of fruit, but the girl disappeared. Presumably, the area was thoroughly searched by the residents of the place, but the girl did not appear. At least not in those years. To her parents' surprise, the girl knocked on their door decades later, and upon her return, the girl still looked the same as the day she disappeared.
After her appearance , the girl told the following:
Apparently, she went into the Ravine in search of the fruit her parents ordered and fell asleep at the foot of a pear tree, where she was later woken up by a very tall creature dressed in white. This did not frighten her, but gave her confidence, so she readily agreed to his invitation to accompany him.
The girl followed this strange creature into the cave, where there were stairs down which they descended. At the end of the descent, they found themselves in a garden where there were more creatures like the one who brought her there, all dressed in white. The girl had fun chatting with them for a few minutes, until finally her strange companion took her back to the exit of the cave and said goodbye to her. No more than a few hours have passed for her, and 30 years have passed for her parents.

La leyenda de la Niña de las Peras es una de las más populares y a la vez la que ha sufrido más transformaciones a lo largo del tiempo. Según las referencias encontradas podemos situar el inicio de los hechos entre 1890 y 1910.
Unos padres enviaron a su hija al Barranco de Badajoz en busca de fruta, pero la niña desapareció. Es de suponer que la zona fue minuciosamente rastreada por los vecinos del lugar, sin embargo la niña no apareció. Al menos no en aquellos años. Para sorpresa de sus padres, la niña tocó a la puerta de su casa varias décadas más tardes, y en su regreso, la niña seguía manteniendo el mismo aspecto que tenía el día que desapareció.
Lo que la niña contó después de su reaparición fue lo siguiente:
Al parecer fue hasta el Barranco en busca de la fruta que sus padres le habían encargado, y se quedó dormida al pie de un peral, donde más tarde fue despertada por un ser muy alto vestido de blanco. Lejos de sentirse asustada, aquel ser le inspiró confianza, por lo que accedió sin reparos a la invitación que éste le hizo de que lo acompañara.
La niña siguió a aquel extraño ser hasta el interior de una cueva en la que habían unas escaleras por las que descendieron. Al finalizar del descenso se encontraron en un jardín en el que habían más seres como el que la había guiado hasta allí, todos vestidos de blanco. La niña se entretuvo unos minutos charlando con ellos hasta que al fin su extraño acompañante la guió de nuevo a la salida de la cueva y se despidió de ella. Para ella no habían pasado más que unas horas, pero para sus padres habían transcurrido 30 años.
