Initial data
An eyewitness noticed a white spot over the city of Leiden, similar to a star moving in a straight line. Then he noticed that there were several of them in a row.
He's writing:
It was like a star, only it was moving, it seemed to be the same height as the stars, but could pass behind or ahead of the starlight, it was very clear, and it was right when my phone went off, which I think is completely coincidental, but because of this I also realized that did it happen so coincidentally?
I Googled it myself, but it's not a satellite or the ISS, because it moved in different orbits, unless they were different objects, because I saw a white star moving from north to south along a beautiful line.
But a little later it started to repeat from east to west and then again in different places it took me 30 minutes until I thought okay, I'm going because they'll take me because there were so many observations now it's clear we're not alone, and we need to get in touch with what's floating here in space or in the air
Original news
Hypotheses
Satellite
Ordinary satellites, which often look like single, not very bright luminous dots moving smoothly in the night sky, are quite often mistaken for UFOs. After the Starlink satellites (near-Earth satellite systems developed by SpaceX, in order to create a cheap and high-performance satellite Internet communication channel and technical transmitters for receiving and transmitting signals from earth and orbit) were launched, it became possible to observe groups of satellites (up to 60 pieces) flying one after another.
Events
Rocket launches (from space.skyrocket.de)
- Site: Jiuquan Space Center, Inner Mongolia (China) Vehicle: Kuaizhou-1A Payload: Longjiang 3
Investigation
Based on the observation time, these may be Starlink G5-10 or G2-7 satellites
