A multicolored sphere under a cloud cover was seen in the sky of Hertogenbosch.
An eyewitness writes:
I work as an ecologist and together with a colleague conducted research on swifts. Unfortunately, I had binoculars in my car, which I deeply regret now. It was very cloudy and windy.
We looked to the west/northwest and saw a very distant small hanging sphere right under the cloud cover. I don't dare to estimate the size and distance. The sphere looked orange-reddish with something like a black border.
My colleague saw a lot more colors and described it more as an ever-changing color. At first, the object hung motionless for several minutes, and sometimes it was difficult to see it because of the distance. it seemed to be heading in our direction and remained visible under the cloud cover and increased in size.
I was going to start filming when he got closer, but suddenly he disappeared. Literally in an instant.

Meerkleurige bol onder wolkendek
'S-HERTOGENBOSCH, NB — Ik werk als ecoloog en deed samen met een collega onderzoek naar gierzwaluwen. Ik had helaas mijn verrekijker in mijn auto liggen iets wat ik nu erg betreur. Het was erg bewolkt en winderig. We keken naar het westen/noordwesten en zagen erg ver weg en klein een hangende bol net onder het wolkendek. Formaat en afstand durf ik niet in te schatten. De bol oogde oranje roodachtig met een soort zwarte rand. Mijn collega zag juist veel meer kleuren en omschreef het meer als constant veranderend van kleur. Object hing eerst meerdere minuten stil en was door de afstand soms lastig te zien. leek onze kant op te komen en bleef zichtbaar onder het wolkendek en werd groter. Ik was van plan te gaan filmen als hij dichterbij zou zijn maar opeens was hij weg. Letterlijk binnen een oogwenk. Ik hoop dat meer mensen het hebben gezien.
