Initial data
In 1997, a group of six people went to Lyuban, Leningrad region, where the ruins of the Makaryevsky Monastery destroyed during the war rest among the marshes. Approaching the ruins, the group noticed the flames of a bonfire. They were shocked to find that the bonfire was hanging right in the air. As soon as they came to the ruins, the bonfire disappeared.
"Black archaeologists" have set up a camp on the ruins. All night they were disturbed by wild human screams coming from the forest. None of them rushed to help.
The next morning, one of the archaeologists went into the forest and got lost. He returned three hours later in dirty clothes and with a crazy expression on his face. He never told his friends what happened to him.
