Initial data
The teacher Turchaninov A.S. writes to the newspaper "Trud".:
In the newspaper "Trud" for January 30, 1985, I read an article "Exactly at 4.10" and at the end a request from the editorial office to report such observations.
So, my wife and I observed a large twinkling star south-east of Volgograd on the evening of January 29. the star moved first to the east, then stopped, moved in the opposite direction, stopped.
So she changed the movement several times as if she was groping for something. We also thought that it was connected with American magic tricks. This star was moving more twinkling beyond the Volga. When, after a considerable break, I looked out the window, I did not find her. It turned out to be far to the right, i.e. stops to the east beyond the Volga, then went far to the west. I think many people saw it, because she was quite large and moved strangely, which could not interest observers. the next day we found your article in the newspaper. I wonder if this has a connection with each other?
Hypotheses
The heavenly bodies
The brightest heavenly bodies in the sky are Venus, Jupiter, and sometimes Mars and, of course, the Moon.
Venus is the bright yellow of the evening or morning star, shining in the sky on the background of evening or dawn. Maximum brightness of Venus can reach up to 4.3 m, and she is the third brightness of the sun in earth's sky after the sun and the moon. It so well reflects the light of the Sun that it is relatively easy to see and day, especially if you know the location. It manifests itself in the form of tiny blinking white dots.
