Hello there! Writes vom Fedorov Valentin Vasilyevich. I live in the Karelian ASSR village of Vyargsil, I read an article in the newspaper "So, a UFO?" I saw something similar here.

So, in order, on December 6, 1984, I took my daughter to the bus stop to send her to kindergarten. The time was 7.25. Before reaching the stop 50 meters away, I noticed a flying ball the size of a football. The ball was blindingly white, about 300 meters high, flying from east to north, flying, as if spraying sparks.

I shouted to the people standing at the bus stop: "Look, something is flying!" and everyone began to look at the object, about six people. During this time, I came to a stop and we all began to think what it was. Then, before our eyes, this ball flashed, as if it exploded, only without a sound, and from the place of the explosion, rings began to spread out, not from smoke, not from gas. It felt like these rings were coming at us. People were even scared, especially women, were about to leave, but the bus came and everyone left.

I didn't go home, still looking back at the place of the explosion, then I saw that from the center of the explosion, if I may say so, a ray appeared, pointing the tip towards the ground. The beam was a bright green-blue color. 

On the way, I met a neighbor and told him everything; there was still a beam at the site of the explosion, only it became even larger, that is, it lengthened and became wider, but it was very bright. I stood with a neighbor and went home. I told my wife everything, she was also scared and kept coming out to look at the beam, it lasted for a long time, an hour or more, only it grew larger and blurred. Then it began to dawn and the beam disappeared.

I came to work at 9 o'clock and began to tell what I had seen, but, as it turned out, it was seen from other places of the village, only someone was a flying ball, someone was an explosion, and most of all they saw a ray.

We thought and wondered what was wrong, but no clarity came. And then this article in the newspaper and a request to report something similar, so they advised me to write, since I was a direct witness of what I saw. I don't know if I depicted what I saw correctly, but it happened in front of the eyes of those people who were with me at the bus stop.

There is a border with Finland in our village, and this phenomenon has caused a lot of guesses, and such bad assumptions.
