Initial data
The mysterious lights, which were seen by thousands of people in Brazil and captured on numerous videos, caused a stir on social networks.
Video footage showing a suspected UFO crash in a nearby forest in Maga, Brazil, north of Rio de Janeiro, even led to Maga trending on Twitter by Wednesday, when several people began sharing videos of glowing lights in the sky. In the videos, you can see blue, red and yellow balls moving across the sky, and one video shows lights arranged in a triangular shape.
Stunned residents can be heard trying to recognize the lights in the sky before several lights seem to land nearby.
Another video shows a group of five glowing spheres in the night sky – a bizarre visual phenomenon that "many people have seen."
Others posted footage of a floating red ball, as well as strange flashing lights on the horizon.
One of the witnesses Andre Di Mauro tweeted:
"There are reports that something fell into the lake. But it doesn't seem to be a satellite."

Maybe I’m Too New Here, But I Don’t See Much Talk About The Mage, Brazil Story
Here is the article I’m referencing - https://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/1283063/UFO-mystery-mysterious-ligh...
In this story, multiple people captured video of glowing orb lights in the sky. One video in the article seems to be of a downed object which one could presume to be one of these “orbs”
If this is real - could this be the clearest image of the “orb” UAP? Do we know anything else about this incident?
The following submission statement was provided by u/WarmKraftDinner:
Submission Statement - I came across this fairly recent story about UFOs being seen in the skies of a forest in Mage, Brazil. This particular story does not have any easy hoax indicators or traces about it, so I think about it often.
With this being one of the clearest UAP videos/pictures I have personally seen without any obvious hoax explanations to be found, I think this footage is quite significant to UAP discourse especially since the U.S. military is said to have visited this scene of the downed object at some point.

Hypotheses
Deliberate falsification
This version includes any falsifications that imitate unexplained phenomena both from the outside: practical jokes, flash mobs, fake news, witness fraud, staging, etc.
There are many ways to make something similar to a ghost or a flying saucer from improvised materials, without using video and photomontage.
Many homemade things made for the sake of a joke, a practical joke or a direct imitation of a mystical being or event can be taken as unexplained not only in photos and videos, but also in reality.
Investigation
The appearance of the object resembles an iron bowl. Since the reflection of the camera's backlight and the small details of the "case" are clearly visible on it, we can say that the object is not very large and is quite close to the camera.
