On the night of May 14-15 , 1981 I came home using the subway. When I entered the room, the radio was no longer working. The night was dark. I looked out the window, which faces northeast, and saw in the sky low above the horizon (about 30 °) translucent cirrus clouds, through which a reddish round body was visible. It was half the size of the moon. All this surprised me, the cat, like the Moon, is much larger and cirrus clouds, as a rule, are higher.
Therefore, within 5 minutes I went to the window several times: everything was unchanged in the firmament. Then I went to bed.
