UFO. Russia

A message from E. Matrosovoy:

Recorded from the words of my mother - Pelageya Nikolaevna Shepkova (now deceased).

It was at the beginning of the century, sometime in 1900-1904 (she said: "before her marriage," and she got married in 1905).

One day she was traveling with her father to the city of Pereslavl from the village of Kupan (her homeland). It was 12 versts to the city. They left at half past four in the morning to get to the bazaar by 7 o'clock.

After driving about 8-9 kilometers from the village, they were approaching the village of Gorodishche. It was winter. The crescent moon shone brightly in the sky. Suddenly they saw the "rising sun" from the western side. They were amazed: this shouldn't be happening!  They were looking intently when they suddenly noticed that the "sun" was rapidly approaching them and flying straight at them. it was some kind of fiery-red-hot object of a round shape, the size of a "sheepskin" (mom said - with a sheep's sheepskin). Sparks rained down from it, forming something like a tail. This "tail" slightly touched the arc. Then the object rose higher and, having rounded the mountain in front of the village of Gorodishche, disappeared behind this mountain.

Mom and her dad were scared, and the horse didn't show any excitement.

She told us about it when we were children. To our question, who was it flying, she answered: "Probably an evil spirit." And further explained: "Someone died. People cry a lot about this man. So he came to them in different forms."

Being illiterate and, of course, superstitious, she could not give us a correct explanation. And we don't know what kind of UFO it is yet.
