Spain: Dogs against Humanoids (1998)
On November 25, 1998, a sentry patrolling the perimeter of the Moron de la Frontera air base near the city of Seville (Spain) at five o'clock in the morning was startled to hear a sound that he compared to the sound of a "steel plate being cut." .
The sentry shouted a challenge. When no one answered, he loaded his rifle and fired two shots into the air, simultaneously releasing a guard dog, a German Shepherd, which accompanied him during his rounds. Almost immediately after two loud noises, a creature described as a two-meter tall "man" appeared from the surrounding thickets.
According to Spanish researcher Jose Manuel Garcia Bautista, the sentry was struck by the creature's height and its fluorescent green eyes, adding that the darkness prevented him from seeing its physical details. With his heart pounding, the sentry fired another shot directly at the creature, but to no avail. Then he ordered the German Shepherd to attack; the animal rushed at the dark figure, but stopped with a loud sob. A well-trained guard dog snuggled up to the sentry, who did not know what to do next. The creature saved him from further confusion by disappearing back into the thicket.
After contacting his superiors by radio, the sentry was taken to the base commander, who advised him to keep the whole matter a secret and gave him a week's leave. But before going on vacation, the sentry noticed that his guard dog now had a long scar running along his left shoulder blade: physical evidence of an encounter with an unknown creature.

After contacting his superiors over a handheld radio, the sentry was taken to see the base commander, who advised him to keep the whole affair confidential and awarded him a week's leave. But before going off on his furlough, the sentry noticed that his guard dog now sported a long scar running along its left shoulder blade: physical proof of the encounter with the unknown creature.
