Initial data
In Kansas City, in the starry night sky, Nikki Noel, a UFO enthusiast, made an unusual observation. Her attention was attracted by an oblong object that traveled across the sky, leaving behind more questions than answers. The video shared by Noelle quickly became the subject of analysis and discussion among the UFO community.
The video shows an oblong-shaped object that moves with extraordinary smoothness and precision. Some speculate that it could be the so—called "Starlink train" - a series of satellites launched by SpaceX that create a distinctive series of lights in the night sky. However, for Noelle and other observers, the behavior and appearance of the object do not quite correspond to this well-known phenomenon.
The Starlink phenomenon is relatively new, and not all night sky observers are yet familiar with it, which can lead to false identifications. However, it is worth noting that the parallel location of satellites characteristic of Starlink can sometimes disperse due to their entry into a lower orbit, which can create the illusion of a single elongated object.
Whether Nikki Noel's appearance is a natural phenomenon or something more mysterious, this is another case that attracts the attention of both amateur and professional UFO researchers. Each such observation contributes to the replenishment of the database of unidentified flying objects and stimulates the imagination, wondering what else might be hidden behind the mysterious lights in the night sky.
Also tonight on the way home. There were more UFOs in the sky than I could count, and a huge beautiful UFO that was over the freeway flew right over me. For half the trip, there was another favorite sight to add to the books! #ufotwitter #ufox pic.twitter.com/t4fB0IZ0M5 – Nikki Noel (@nikkinoelle7) December 8, 2023
Hypotheses
Objects and light sources out of focus
When the objects are out of focus, their silhouettes blurred and poorly recognizable. They can look like dark or colored translucent stain. This is often the cobwebs, spiders, insects in front of the camera.
Satellite
Ordinary satellites, which often look like single, not very bright luminous dots moving smoothly in the night sky, are quite often mistaken for UFOs. After the Starlink satellites (near-Earth satellite systems developed by SpaceX, in order to create a cheap and high-performance satellite Internet communication channel and technical transmitters for receiving and transmitting signals from earth and orbit) were launched, it became possible to observe groups of satellites (up to 60 pieces) flying one after another.
Investigation
Externally, it really looks very much like a "train of satellites". To confirm or refute this version, it is necessary to find out the exact time of observation.
This is probably G6-33, which could have been observed in 18-25. They were the ones moving over the city in great numbers that evening.
