More recently, an emergency alert was announced in the Austrian city of Wels, which alarmed the whole city. One farmer worked late in his field. As he was going home, he noticed an object descending from the sky, giving signals and emitting light. Having read a lot about aliens in the newspapers, the worker rushed to the nearest phone and called the police station. The police officers who arrived at the scene actually found a UFO. However, after a long and thorough inspection, the inscription "Munich weather station" in German was found on it, and also a request was made to those who found it to send it to the specified address.

The "space object" that turned out to be a weather balloon was taken to a police station, photographed from all sides (there was a violation of Austrian airspace) and sent to a weather station in Munich.
