Initial data
The message is Tatyana Nikolaevna's Samovar (laboratory assistant at VNIIR named after Vavilov).
Place of observation: Uzbek SSR, Tashkent region, P.O. Botany, Central Asian branch of VNIIR (20 km north of Tashkent).
It was observed in the field in the South-In part of the territory of SAFAVIR.
The time is 22-35 or 22-50 local summer time or 19-35 or 19-50 Moscow summer time on July 24, 1981.
To the northwest of the observer, a huge triangle with a base at the top was visible against the background of the Karavan-Tau ridge. the lower corner of the triangle was either missing or not visible behind the tops of the trees. The color is a cool blue, like the moon. The edges of the luminous object (or phenomenon) are not clear, but without a halo. There was an impression that there were at least 2 light sections in the upper part of it (the impression that it was a salute rocket before their divergence before falling to the ground).
The "object" was slowly descending, gradually disappearing behind the tops of the trees. There was no sound. The contrail is thin, black in the form of a Latin letter "S" - it did not fit closely to the object. The feeling of observation is curiosity and surprise.
A senior researcher at the Fruit crops department, Denisov, passing by the observer, gave a conclusion: "It's a flare!"
A citizen of the Syrian Arab Republic (who was next to the observer), Ismail Salamonovich Abu-Assaf, a graduate student of the Department of TLC, perceived the observed object as an oval-shaped object.
