Initial data
CANADA, USA, ATLANTIC OCEAN (ONTARIO Ave., NEW YORK, ships)
A large number of residents of Canada, the United States and the crews of a number of ships. There are 143 separate observations, including the observation of the famous Canadian astronomer Hunt.
"The Cyrillic Flow". Exceptionally bright cars in groups (sometimes 100-200 cars each) We flew slowly from the northwest to the southeast and covered a distance of 8000 km in 10 minutes (average speed = 13-14 km/sec)
According to Hunt, the cars were moving "in a completely horizontal line," i.e., in other words, in a circular orbit. Since the meteor glow begins at altitudes not exceeding 200 km, the circular velocity should be on the order of 7.9 km/sec. There is a significant contradiction.
