"Unnatural" (English: "The Unnatural") is the nineteenth episode of the sixth season of the TV series "The X-Files". The episode belongs to the "monster of the week" type and is not related to the main "mythology" of the series.
Arthur Dales, the brother of a retired FBI agent with the same name who previously appeared in other episodes of the series, tells Mulder the story of a black baseball player who played for the Roswell Grays team in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947 under the name "Josh Exley". In fact, Exley turns out to be an alien in love with baseball. Later, he is tracked down by an alien hunter and executed for treason to his people.
Phenomena in artwork: The Alien
The episode shows two classic "gray" aliens participating in a project to colonize the Earth. They are short, have a thin body with gray skin, a large head with huge black eyes and a small mouth. According to one of them, the aliens never laugh because their mouth is too small for that. Aliens can change their shape, turning into a person of any gender and appearance. At the same time, you can see their real body in the reflections. The alien blood is green and dissolves objects like acid, and its vapors are toxic to humans.
One of the aliens became so interested in baseball that he joined Roswell's local team, the Roswell Grays. He got so carried away with the game and became close to people that at the end of the episode he turns into a man: his blood turns red.
