Some areas of the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa, were covered by a severe thunderstorm with hail on October 28, as a result of which at least 450 ostriches and other livestock died on a farm in the Aberdeen area, IOL reports

According to local residents, they have never seen such a storm. Farmers lost not only hundreds of ostriches, but also domestic goats and sheep.

The storm also damaged infrastructure.
