Amazing clouds captured in a Pine forest

On Thursday, September 9, residents of Sosnovy Bor managed to photograph unusual clouds. Experts call them " asperitas "(asperitas), which translates from Latin as"roughness".

The lower part of these clouds is a pronounced wave. An unusual and intimidating look is given to them by their heterogeneous thickness and special lighting.

The "asperitas" trait is relatively rare in clouds and does not depend on the time of year or a point on the map. However, most often a rare phenomenon can be noticed in the morning and in calm weather.

The nature of the appearance of these clouds is not yet known. However, scientists suggest that unusual waves appear when warm and cold air collide inside a cloud.
