In the capital of South Africa, a new huge funnel 4 meters wide has formed in the middle of a busy road, News24 reports.

The first sinkhole that appeared in Lavender Hill was swallowed up by a garbage truck. A second sinkhole opened on Montague Drive in Milnerton, causing serious damage.

The Cape Town Water and Sewerage Department said on Tuesday it was dealing with road collapses.

One lane was temporarily closed to traffic due to the sinkhole in Milnerton.
