The remains of a mysterious marine creature discovered by tourists after a storm on the Sakhalin coast.
Judging by the photo, the creation is several meters long and has a beak resembling a dolphin.
The photo has caused interest among domestic specialists in the local branch of NNYRO. Experts plan to extract samples of tissues of the deceased creature. So far, the hypothesis has been expressed that it is a buoy, also known as beaked. Such creatures are found at great depths off the Sakhalin coast, but their carcasses are not often brought to dry land.
The beaks are marine mammals that do not live only in the Arctic Ocean. It is noted that the buoys are severely affected by fishing nets, as well as the stress of the noise of the engines of human vessels.
