Residents of Krasnoyarsk were attacked by insects, which at first it was even difficult to identify. Accustomed to the prosaic summer mosquitoes, people did not immediately understand what kind of green small midges filled the air in huge quantities.

It is reported that the highest concentration of insects was recorded near Krastets, and the bugs also visited Pokrovsky and Severny districts and the Green Grove on a large-scale visit.

Citizens posted several videos online that show clouds of insects swirling in the air, covering the hoods and windshields of cars. At the same time, some of the witnesses laugh in shock, and some are literally horrified by what is happening.

Experts explained all this by the migration of winged aphids. The insect, in response to the abnormally warm summer and prolonged plus temperatures, decided not to waste time and multiplied.
