On the night of November 17 over Finland, Norway and the Murmansk region flew the meteor. He got on DVRs Finnish and Russian motorists. In the words of eyewitnesses, the night sky for a few seconds turned red, and then there was a bright flash.

"From 17 November to 18 November will have a maximum of Leonids meteor shower, one of the most powerful meteor showers in the sky, in that thread a lot of bright particles", — told "Interfax" the astronomer Victor troshenkov.

He added that the meteor is safe for humans.
