In the Rostov region, a giant tornado was noticed

Several eyewitnesses captured on video a giant tornado that appeared in the Rostov region.

Tornado (tornado) — this is an intense small-sized vortex under clouds with a vertical, often curved axis. The tornado descends in the form of a dark funnel from the lower border of the parent cloud, towards which another funnel of spray or dust can rise from the earth's surface. When they connect, they form a rotating column with the narrowest part in the middle. Several tornadoes can occur simultaneously in one powerful thundercloud. The wind speed in a rotating column of rising air can exceed 100 m/s. Along with a large pressure drop, this can cause catastrophic destruction, while a complete calm can be observed nearby. The tornado can rotate both clockwise and counterclockwise.
