Residents of the village of Dagomys this morning witnessed an unusual phenomenon. The sea was like fresh milk. The video, captured on a mobile phone, quickly spread online.

This natural phenomenon is called the "Floating Sea". During a sharp cold snap, the cooled air comes into contact with the surface of a relatively warm sea, resulting in steam condensation.

In the morning in Sochi, the air temperature was about two degrees Celsius, and the water in the sea did not have time to cool down so quickly – about 16 degrees above zero.
