The predator, near the seaside village of Nagornoye, who took the lives of seven dogs in just two weeks, was finally caught by specialists. The tiger was examined and released into natural conditions away from human settlements.

According to the Amur Tiger Center, the animal behaved unusually, almost without fear of people, and went out to the outskirts of the village both at night and during the day.

Deputy Minister of Forestry in the regional government Alexey Surovov said that one of the locals even once "caught" a tiger when he was going to attack his horse. Only at the sight of the sharp forks did the beast leave.

The behavior of the tiger is explained by a decrease in the number of wild boar, which is why the tigers were forced to hunt roe deer. The latter, in turn, because of the powerful snow cover, gather near fields near villages and villages.
