July 2, astronomer Matt Robinson was in the valley of Elqui in Northern Chile, to observe a solar Eclipse — the moon moves over the face of the Sun. Most observers photographed the Eclipse with the help of cameras mounted on tripods. Robinson decided to capture the phenomenon of otherwise — optics, he launched into the air, removing the video from the drone.
"Silvery light enveloped the area, and the temperature dropped significantly. The animals decided that it's night. When there was an Eclipse and the Moon completely hid the Sun, I could not believe what I saw! It was like a huge portal to another dimension", — he said.
On 2 July there was a total solar Eclipse — the Sun was visible only by the crown, the Moon completely covered the sun. Hunters interesting celestial phenomena and observers from around the world traveled to the southern part of the Pacific ocean in Chile and Argentina, where he formed the best conditions for observation of the phenomenon.
