Turkish manufacturer Baykar, engaged in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles, showed the first prototype of its own flying vehicle — Gezeri.
Representatives of the company recently posted a video on YouTube with passing tests on the Baykar Gezeri model: during a test flight, the device weighing 230 kilograms rose ten meters above the earth's surface. Test flights took place both in daylight and in the dark, with and without cables for insurance.
Baykar noted that in the near future, their prototype Gezeri will reach speeds of up to 100 km / h at an altitude of 2 thousand meters, as well as fly about 70-80 kilometers.
The company's press service shared with users that the first Turkish flying model was in development for about a year and a half. Baykar Gezeri is an electric aircar powered by batteries that drive eight electric motors and propellers.
