Another giant geoglyph has been discovered on the famous Peruvian plateau, and this time it will delight seal lovers. The image, reaching 37 m in length, is made up of 3- and 40-centimeter-wide lines.
The Ministry of Culture of the country reported that the figure of the cat was discovered when the observation deck was restored, where many have been admiring the previously open geoglyphs for a long time.
According to scientists, the image is a legacy of representatives of the Paracas culture who lived in these territories in the VIII–I centuries BC.
Recall that the images on the Nazca plateau were first noticed at the beginning of the last century, when aviation began to be actively used in the world. To date, more than seven hundred different graphic patterns have been found, including both full-fledged images of animals and people, and ornamental elements.
