A bright meteor on the night of April 14 was observed over the northeastern American state of Connecticut and nearby areas.

The American Meteor Community received 147 reports from eyewitnesses about the flight of a celestial body.

The fireball was observed on Sunday over Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The meteor streaked across the sky at about 01:08 world time.
