Cupendiepes, also known as Cupendiepes or Kupendiepes are a tribe of human bats that raid nearby villages at night, killing people with spears and axes. They belong to Brazilian mythology.

According to legend, these jungle vampires inhabited the cursed cave. It is claimed that they can take the form of a humanoid bat (werewolves).

The best way to fight them off is to find a cave where they hide during the day while they sleep, and block the entrance to it.
