Not only was Filiberto Cardenas abducted by aliens, which he admitted to using hypnotic regression just a few months after his encounter in 1979, but he was also able to give some frighteningly accurate predictions of upcoming events.
In the early evening of January 3, Filiberto drove with his friend Fernando around the neighborhood of Miami (Florida), in search of a pig for a barbecue. Suddenly, their car stalled and stopped. Both men got out of the car and went to the hood to investigate the problem. At that moment, they both heard a buzzing sound coming from somewhere above. Then they noticed strange lights, and a beam of light illuminated the body of the car, while both men were completely paralyzed.
Suddenly, a bright beam coming from the ship caused Filiberto to lift off the ground. And then he just disappeared. Fernando's paralysis passed just in time to see the ship disappear into the sky. Two hours later, Filiberto appeared in the middle of a busy road, about 16 kilometers from where his car had stopped. The Miami police picked him up, and contacted his family and Fernando (who reported Filiberto missing), after which the latter was released. By the way, this case can be considered the first time that an official police report says that a person disappeared as a result of a"UFO encounter".
After about six months, Filiberto went through a hypnotic regression. His revelations were very similar to those of many other alleged victims of alien abduction. He described how he was immobilized in a strange chair in a large room, held by a "suction device" on his back. He was subjected to multiple experiments and remembered a few of the "little needles" that pierced his skull. The aliens were trying to contact him. They spoke several languages, each time adjusting something in the device that was in their hands. After trying German and English, they finally settled on Spanish, which Filiberto understood.
Filiberto remembered that the information he received telepathically, looking at the strange events on the screens around him. He then spoke about upcoming events, including a warning about "a city that will be destroyed." ..] the capital of Mexico". Six years later, in 1985, Mexico City experienced an earthquake that almost leveled part of the city. He also said that " almost all of California's major population centers will be swallowed up by the sea." In a March 1983 Newsweek article, an article referred to several coastal areas that had been lost to coastal erosion. Among other things, Filiberto also allegedly predicted the Ronald Reagan presidency and the AIDS epidemic.
