Young man Evan Breese woke up to get a glass of water. Looking out of the window, the boy saw something moving in the pen, which is home to several large pigs, mostly family pets.
Thinking it might be a coyote. He grabbed his gun and entered the pen. There, he met two creatures ranging in height from 8 to 9 feet (2.4-2.7 m), who were doing something with one of the pigs. The boy fired his .22-caliber rifle at one of the creatures and was almost certain that he had hit it, judging by the unearthly cry that was emitted.
Another creature then grabbed the boy and threw him to the ground, causing him to lose consciousness. When Evan Breese woke up, he found that the 450-pound (165 m) sow Ruthie, who was ready to give birth, had disappeared. The boy ran to the house of his older sister, Trista, not far from the house where he lives with his parents.
The Kidder County Sheriff has arrived. Evan Breese, his shirt in tatters, told his story. Sheriff Doug Howard left, but returned the next day. In the end, he didn't draw any conclusions about what happened to the pig.
