In a 1989 clip filmed near Oliver's Castle in Wiltshire, small white dots appear to be flying erratically over a deserted cornfield.

As small objects move across the field at speed, round formations begin to appear in the corn under them.

Suddenly, UFO-like objects disappear, leaving behind only mysterious circles.

Original news

This recently rediscovered vintage video of possible UFOs caught circling a remote field might prove the theory has been right all along.

In the 1989 clip, filmed near Oliver’s Castle in Wiltshire, small white dots appear to be flying haphazardly above a deserted cornfield.

As the small objects travel at speed around the field, circular formations begin to appear in the corn beneath.

Suddenly, the UFO-like objects disappear, leaving only the the mystery circles in their wake.

Crop circles first came to the fore in the 1980s, when they became a subject of mass speculation by paranormal investigators.

Many believe they are a sign that extra terrestrial creatures are trying to communicate with Earth.

Several scientists have tried to discredit this theory, arguing that there is no proof crop circles are caused by aliens.

However, a research professor at the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space is reported to have said: “We have come to agree that this ‘thing’ cannot be scientifically proven.”

The mystery, therefore, runs on and on – and this particular video has resurfaced, despite controversy.

Is there any truth in the theory that aliens really do exist? Apparently so – according to an alien expert over 200 extra terrestrial species regularly visit Earth.

Meanwhile, UFO sightings in the North East of England have had alien enthusiasts convinced since earlier this year.

Investigation

There is such information in the description of the video:

Some say it was filmed in 1989, some in 1996. The video was shot by John Wabe. Was he the best special effects creator of his time ... or he has witnessed something so incredible that it has now put his life at risk as he hides from sinister forces seeking to kidnap him.

Indeed, this video appears in different sources, indicating different dates and locations of shooting.

He also appears in the documentary "Crop Circles: Is It Real?" (Is It Real Crop Circles, Part 5), released by the National Geographic Channel in 2002. It stated that this video is most likely a fake, and the expert shows how using an editing program you can make absolutely the same video.

Video "Oliver's Castle"

The phenomenon of the appearance of "circles on the field" (also called agroglyphs or formations) especially attracted public attention in the 1970s and 1980s, when they began to be discovered in large numbers in the south of Great Britain. There are various hypotheses about the origin of circles: from rational ones (circles are the work of man) to alternative ones (microsurches, ball lightning
