Initial data
Google Maps users have noticed bizarre images of a man without a head and limbs in a protective suit.
If you go to the Brooklyn Navy Yard in In New York, you will discover a strange observation of a suit made of hazardous materials standing in the middle of the road — without a body inside.
And if you virtually walk down the street on the map, you will see that the disembodied costume is having fun dancing and playing tricks on the terrain.
There are no clues as to how it happened or who it is, but in one image the suit is seen leaning against a nearby tree, despite the fact that it has no arms or legs on which to balance.
There is a short thread on Reddit about the observation, in one comment the figure is called the Covid version of the classic creepy character Hollow Man.
There are no clues about the person or how it happened, or how it was done, given that it is outside a very secure area owned by the US Navy, which includes a variety of security equipment and construction equipment.
Original news
Google Maps users have spotted bizarre images of what appears to be a headless man with no limbs in a hazmat suit.
Users have been gifted with hundreds of weird sightings and the latest one is a real head scratcher – or it would be if the person spotted had a head.
If you take a trip down to the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City, you’ll find a strange sighting of a hazardous materials full body suit standing in the middle of a road – with no body inside.
And if you take virtually walk down the street on the map you’ll see that the bodiless suit is having a fun time dancing and playing tricks around the area.
There are zero clues as to how this has happened or who it is, but in one image the suit is spotted leaning against a nearby tree despite having no hands or feet to balance on.
And to make it even weirder, at the end of the road when the suit disappears, a seagull ends up taking its place right in front of the Google Street car for a good few hundred yards – although for some reason, as the camera gets closer to the Navy-run area, the seagull ends up being pixelated, presumably to protect its privacy.
There is a short Reddit thread about the sighting, with one comment nicknaming the figure the Covid edition of the classic creepy character Hollow Man.
There are no clues whatsoever about the person or how this happened, or how this was done considering it’s outside a very secure United States Navy-owned area which includes lots of security and building equipment.
There is also a very ominous and sobering-looking black van randomly parked on the roadside all the way along, too.
The images where captured in May 2021, but have only now been spotted.
It’s unlikely we’ll ever find out the purpose – or possibly the mission – of the limbless, headless, Covid suited figure, or how it ended up there.
Last week, Google Maps users claimed to have spotted the Star Destroyer from Star Wars after seeing strange reflective lights on the service’s satellite view.
The Star Destroyer was a wedge-shaped ship that appeared in four Star Wars movies, including The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
“The hell is this?” a Google Maps user wrote on Reddit, accompanied by an image that some users thought resembled the famous ship.
While some surmised that the harsh light could have been caused by a reflective material on the roof of a building, others let their imaginations run more wildly than that.
“Sir, thats the back of a Star Destroyer,” one person said, as another responded: “For sure not a moon so it must be a Star Destroyer.”

It appears the image is in England, in Southend on Sea, Essex more specifically, according to one user.
A Star Destroyer was a dagger-shaped type of capital ship that were used by the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire, the First Order, and the Sith Eternal in the famous movie franchise.
Notable examples of Star Destroyers include the Imperial-class Star Destroyer and its predecessor the Venator-class Star Destroyer.

Investigation
There were no references to the exact places where you can see the headless suit in the source article. We managed to find a place where a person (albeit with a head and limbs) is having fun on an office chair in the middle of the road: you can see how he runs to the right place to then take the planned position. Then he rolls away, falls off the chair, the chair remains lying, and the person leaves.
These photos were taken by the user Loosii Ninjaś in September 2020.
The same user has images with a "headless suit", which is referred to in the fact, on the foundation.app website. There he points out:
Part of a series of performances in Google Street View, this part represents the trajectory that I outlined in 2020 as an element of a larger frame-by-frame film that exists on the Internet.
There are quite a lot of photos of this person with his head in this location, he interacts with different things (boxes, chairs, an umbrella, etc.). When an umbrella hanging in space appears, then if you follow the umbrella forward, it is caught by a man in a white suit, and then, in the following frames, the suit is already visible without the head and limbs, which also begins to interact with surrounding objects.
Thus, the "headless suit" is not a ghost or an invisible man, but an art action.
