Coordinates: Fork of the roads: - to the Red Hermitage, - to the military unit, and - to the Central village. Elevation.

In the area of the "Defense Islands" they saw a glow of bright red color. The glow began to fade and a bright yellow ball with a diameter of 30 cm appeared (visible dimensions on the ruler at arm's length = 65 cm from the eye). Azimuth to the object is 135° (from memory, taking into account the map). The distance to the ball is about 2 km.

Date: April 1987, about 23-00, Moscow time.

The sky is clear. The sun was no longer there, the stars had not yet appeared. It was light. The balloon floated out of the horizon. Rays were coming from the ball in different directions. Having risen to a height of approximately = 2.5 forest heights , he hovered over Lake Ladoga

After hanging for 3-5 minutes, it was divided into 3 parts, into 3 balls, also bright yellow. 2 balls instantly disappeared. And 3 the ball began to pale and sink down, reached the trees.

The witnesses were distracted. Having looked - the ball was not found. Either the ball went behind the forest, or into the water, or just "went out" - It's not clear.
