The last heavy midday rain on June 25, 1990 nailed the dust, washed the berries, soaked the ground well, and the huntsman of the village of Sobolevki, V.V. The Kovalskys raised their heads, listened, but the signal was not repeated. and then Olga said that it was probably a hoopoe bird resting on a collective farm pond, "reaching" on a high note. They continued to pick strawberries. After 10-12 minutes, the Kowalskys again heard the same signal coming low above the ground. Having stopped working, the couple rose to their full height, looked around anxiously, but did not notice anything suspicious around them either on the ground, in the air, or in the sky.

At the same time, on June 25, 1990, at 9 p.m., the Kovalskys' daughter Zhanna and her neighbor and school friend Tanya Balashova were playing in their children's hut, built by them on the slope of a hollow with a flowing stream in densely overgrown bushes, behind a collective farm garden, 300 meters from their homes.

 Suddenly, at 21-00 (Tanya's wristwatch stopped at this figure), the girls heard a short beep "bi-ip" and looked towards its source. They were stunned by surprise: at a distance of 6-7 meters from them, on a clearing overgrown with tall grass, framed on one side by a girl's hut, on the other by a flowing stream, and on the third by a branching five-stemmed old lime tree, a large shiny saucer-like apparatus was silently and slowly descending, landing on the ground between the hut and the lime tree.

A few meters from the ground, 4 one-and-a-half-meter landing legs-paws with rectangular support tiles - silently moved out of the lower part of it, and a FIVE-meter "FLYING SAUCER" (brown from the bottom, and golden-shiny from above) quietly and smoothly descended on a grassy, wet after rain "heel" of the ground 7 meters from those watching an unprecedented "miracle" of two girlfriends who became accidental eyewitnesses of the phenomenon.

The aliens had two long thick arms hanging down to their knees, and 5 fingers of their black hands, visible from under short-sleeved raincoats, ended in long "nails-claws", similar to chicken paws. The long "rough" legs of the aliens ended in bald, square-elongated feet, similar to duck legs. on the feet of the aliens, under the raincoat floors diverging from the waist, high boots to the groin, similar to fishermen's, were visible, which tightly clung to their legs.

The aliens moved clumsily, turning their whole body, not bending their knees, like soldiers on parade - as if they were "floating" above the ground and above the water, but eyewitnesses saw that they were "living people", with a "living face", albeit with dark earthy skin...

After recovering from the first shock, having an idea from the newspapers about space aliens and making sure that these "strangers" are alien aliens, the older girlfriend Tanya quietly whispered in the ear of her smaller girlfriend:

"Let's run: it seems to be aliens..."

The frightened Jeanne, hoping that her friend was joking, answered Tanya also quietly:

Tanya pulled Jeanne by the sleeve - and the terrified girls ran away from the strange UFO, from the scary nerpaw-like aliens - directly across the stream, away from this place that had become creepy. While fleeing from the hut across the stream, Jeanne stepped on a piece of slate, it cracked loudly - and instantly all three aliens turned and saw the girls running away, who managed to move away from their place of observation by 10 meters.

The aliens quickly bypassed the UFO, approached the girls, looked at them with a piercing hypnotic gaze - and for some reason it became very difficult for Tanya and Jeanne to run: needles prickled in their forehead and temples, their legs became "like springs" and could not move further, something seemed to be "pulling" girlfriends back to their hut.

Catching on a snag in the water, Jeanne fell, Tanya picked her up and tried to pull with all her might, feeling that she herself could not not only run, but also go further. The girlfriends stood "frozen in one place" and suddenly saw that the aliens seemed to surround them: the average alien moved across the stream, to the right, without stepping on the water and as if "floating" above it, which did not even squish and splash under him: the short one began to go to the left, without bending his knees and just as incomprehensibly "floating" above the ground: The tall one went into the hut where the girls playing left their jackets.

He bent over them, picked up Jeanne's jacket with a long fingernail, picked it up, put his other hand into the pocket of his jacket, pulled out a handful of hazelnuts from it and put it behind the floor of his raincoat. Then he threw the jacket on the ground. All this was clearly seen by the hooked girlfriends, and Jeanne quietly said to Tanya:

"Look, he's checking our pockets..."

The tall alien began to show the girls something like "paper money", and waved his other hand at them, as if urging them to come to him. on his chest, the girls noticed a small round device 10-15 centimeters wide. The alien pressed a button on it - and the girlfriends were startled by some loud unnatural "metallic" voice pronouncing words in Ukrainian with a smooth "mechanical" sound. but since Tanya and Jeanne were very frightened by all these events and they were very pricked in the temples, they remembered two phrases well from the words spoken by the alien

"we are children of another planet... we will arrive twice more at the same place, on the same day and at the same time..."

after that, the alien spoke some more words, but the girls did not understand them.

The tall alien came out of the hut and approached the UFO, he was joined by the returned medium and small aliens. they began to talk about something among themselves, and Tanya and Jeanne, feeling suddenly free from stupor and deciding that the aliens were no longer interested in them, quietly returned to their hut and from there through the dense green bushes continued to observe the events unfolding in the clearing on the "heel" between the UFO and the hut: childish curiosity defeated the instinct of self-preservation...

And on the wet grassy glade, new "cosmic miracles" continued to follow: the "tall one" bent down to the ground, tore out a bunch of green vegetation and threw it on the surface of the "flying saucer" - and immediately a variety of different colors bloomed all over the surface of the apparatus: the average one had a "bagel-like" oblong-rounded box about the length of 25-30 cm, and he, moving away from the UFO down, closer to the stream, 2-3 meters from the UFO, bent down and buried it with his hands (or nails) in the ground.

then the aliens climbed up the ladder-ladder to the hatch, entered the apparatus, descending into its lower part "like into a barrel", and silently closed the hatch cover behind them. The same "landing" short signal "bi-ip" sounded, white smoke poured out from under the apparatus, the UFO slowly and silently rose to the height of an old lime tree, removing its landing legs, hung motionless in one place for a few seconds, blinked from below with red and blue lights located along the lower perimeter of the body - and immediately, as if he melted into the air, the m of the eyes of Tanya and Jeanne watching him disappeared.

After the UFO disappeared, there was still some kind of red dot in the sky-a light of 2-3 cm in size, but it soon disappeared altogether...

When the UFO flew away and the dumbfounded girls moved away a little from the shock, Tanya looked at her watch and saw that the hour hand was pointing at them at 9 o'clock - the clock was wound up, but it was not going? they stopped at the moment the UFO landed on earth. And when, without consulting each other, Zhanna and Tanya ran to the kitchen garden to their working parents, it was 21-15 - these incredible events lasted only 10-12 minutes (!), and they seemed to their girlfriends a terrible eternity!.

Zhanna immediately "blurted out": "some strange uncles surrounded us there!", and Tatiana excitedly finished "We saw a flying saucer and aliens!"

But the girlfriends, almost crying from resentment at the distrust of adults, with a tremor in their voice at the same time began to prove and show the place where the UFO was sitting, where the aliens were standing and walking, where they hid "something" from where the girlfriends were watching it all.

Olga, Kovalsky's wife, at that time stopped at the site of the alleged UFO landing and wiped her hands, stained with sand from the berry patch, on the high wet grass. Having barely climbed up the "alien path", Kovalsky saw that his wife was standing with a clouded face, yellow-yellow, like the dead, with her arms and shoulders hanging limply, and the children standing at the entrance to their hut were watching with silent horror this almost somnambulistic state of their parents

Anya N., a resident of Sobolevka, was returning home on June 25 around midnight by the path passing behind the collective farm garden, along which she had been walking for many years, shortening her way from home to the berry and reception center located in the center of the village. She calmly reached the old lime tree, turned right down into the bushes near the flowing stream to go for a small need, and suddenly. . .
