In late June-early July 1984, Yura (eyewitness) I was returning home from a friend's at about 2 a.m. Passing near the Hardware store, I heard the cry of a bird resembling the cry of an owl (an unpleasant, unusual cry. The owl can laugh, cry, etc.). Yura had a strong flashlight with him, he tried to find a bird with a beam on a small group of trees growing next to the store. As Yura put it:

"... it was like someone pushed me by the arm to raise the lantern higher. The next moment I saw a metallic sheen at a height of 10-15 m. In the center of this brilliance there was a bright radiation, as if I had hit the reflector of a strong spotlight with a flashlight.

The object I saw looked like an oval or spherical body. When I saw this, I hurried to take shelter under a tree, and after I came out of hiding, I saw that the body was moving away."

According to Yura, this spherical (?) faintly glowing body rose to a great height (slowly, like a balloon), then stopped and moved in the direction of the north, then stopped over our factory and disappeared from view.
