Canadian astrophysicists have found 234 cases of what they called "unusual periodic spectral modulations in a small proportion of solar-type stars". The most probable reasons for this behavior of the stars, the authors referred to the existence in their vicinity of highly developed civilizations.
Scientists believe that the representatives of the civilization deliberately change the signal light in order that it noticed reasonable inhabitants of other planets and thus found out about their existence. To their conclusions the authors came analyzing spectral data, mainly changing the light intensity depending on wavelength, about 2.5 million celestial bodies.
It is noteworthy that any unusual signals coming from stars of the solar type, belonging to the spectral class F2-K1. To get this kind of radiation, scientists believe that aliens could with, for example, lasers.
