Blue dog pack spotted in Dzerzhinsk

In Dzerzhinsk, not far from the entrance of the Plexiglass factory, dogs with blue hair were seen. The photos were published in the social network.

The townspeople said that the animals get together in flocks and live on the territory, previously the plant was engaged in the production of prussic acid and acrylic glass. From 2015 to the present, the company is not functioning, there are empty buildings behind a high fence. According to the bankruptcy trustee of JSC "Dzerzhinsk Plexiglass", the animals could have stained the wool with chemicals left in some of the abandoned buildings, RIA Novosti reports.

Veterinarian Vladimir Urazhevsky is concerned about the current situation. Chemicals have a negative effect on animals, they can irritate the skin, making dogs more aggressive, reports the channel "360".

The authorities of Dzerzhinsk did not stay away from the problem of the "blue pack". Now officials are negotiating with the management of the plant about the possibility of allowing veterinarians to catch animals on the territory. Doctors will examine the dogs, assess their condition, clarify the reasons why the coat has acquired a blue hue, and provide the dogs with the necessary medical care.

20.02.2021 it turned out that the osbaki were painted with Prussian blue. It was this safe pigment that gave them a shade that vividly reminded many of the musical fairy tale "Blue Puppy".

Representatives of the press service of the city administration reported that a number of tests were carried out by the chemical research Institute at Nizhny Novgorod State University, as well as by the regional committee of veterinary supervision. The expert opinion says that the Prussian blue does not pose a threat to the well-being of pets.

The dogs are currently staying in a pet clinic, where they are vaccinated, among other things.
